Splinter Meeting Computation
Computational Astrophysics
Time: Tuesday September 19, 14:00-16:30
and Wednesday September 20, 14:00-16:30
Room: HS3
Convenors: Rolf Kuiper (Tübingen), Hubert Klahr (MPIA), Wilhelm Kley (Tübingen)
Numerical simulations play an ever more important role
in astrophysical research. The goal of the splinter meeting is
to bring together the national and international community
in the field to present and discuss new computational methods,
algorithms and applications. The topics will include magneto-hydrodynamics,
radiative transport, N-body dynamics, and others.
